APRIL IS F*&% CANCER MONTH

In February of 2000 my dad was diagnosed with bladder cancer. Succumbing to the disease a very short two months later. I was 17 at the time.

April 7th marks the 17-year anniversary of my father’s death. It also means that my dad has not been in my life for as long as he was in it.

I am not entirely sure why this fact is so pivotal to me, but it is.

This year, two more people really close to me were diagnosed with cancer – THANKFULLY both successfully overcoming their battles with the disease.

Cancer is something that most of us have been personally affected by, in one-way or another.

So I have made the decision to do something to show my support, and I would love you to be a part of it.

To help raise funds for the fight to end cancer, I am dedicating the whole month of April to F*&% CANCER – with the goal to raise $17,000 for the Canadian Cancer Society.

How do I plan to do this?

By hosting 5 charity bootcamps!

HERE ARE THE DETAILS

We have set up a donations page, where you can donate funds to help me (and the rest of the BIM team) reach our fundraising goal.

You can find that page HERE.

In the month of April, we will be hosting 5 charity bootcamps at BIM.

>>> We are also having a pub night on April 13th at 7pm at Legend’s Pub!

Tickets to this pub night are $20 and include a burger and a beer. You can purchase one here at BIM. All proceeds raised will also go to the Canadian Cancer Society.

Make sure that you mark those dates on your calendar!

In addition to these 5 charity bootcamps and the pub night, we will be running 5 client challenges that you can register to be a part of. Those will run from April 1st to April 19th.

The winners of these challenges will get to run the entire BIM coaching team through a group workout of their choosing; which basically means that they will have 60-minutes to make Jen, Andrei, Aly, Kelly, Alex and myself do what ever exercises they want.

That class will be held after the noon charity bootcamp on April 23rd, and will be open to everyone to come and watch.

I will be sending out another email to explain the details of the challenge early next week. So make sure that you watch for that.

What do I need from you?!

I am hoping to get as many people out for these charity bootcamps as possible, and would love for you to invite your friends, family members, and their friends and family to come out and help us get to our fundraising goal.

$17,000 may seem like a lot, but I know we can do it!… especially if we all come together. ????

If you have any questions about any of these bootcamps or our upcoming pub night, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me by email. You can also talk to any BIM team member the next time you’re at the studio.

Stay tuned for more event details!
